How the products were used:

VitroCol^® collagen was used to coat the aneurysm models. This helped create a hydrophilic surface and avoid hydrophobic attraction of polystyrene particles. 

 

Article Abstract:

Taken together, the presented findings may enhance our understanding
of pathological deposition processes at cardiovascular disease sites, and
facilitate rational design and optimization of cardiovascular particulate
drug carriers.
