Collagen membrane film discs (23 mm diameter) have high strength and flexibility as seen in the video. This thin membrane film has highly structured collagen fibers and can be useful in tissue engineering as a barrier substrate or basement membrane, or in applications where a very thin sheet of collagen is required.
