FibriCol® type I collagen, 10 mg/ml, was used to coat the micro chambers of the silicone Organ-on-a-chip model prior to cell addition.
Article Conclusion:
"Cultivation of human endothelial cells in TPE-based devices did not show any indications of cytotoxicity. Overall, this work demonstrates the potential of TPE as an alternative to PDMS for microfluidic cell culture and organ-on-chip applications"
