PhotoHA-Soft Crosslinking Study

The following experiment was conducted to determine the viscoelastic behavior of PhotoHA®-Soft (our glycidyl methacrylate hyaluronic acid) during photocrosslinking at HA concentrations of 1%, 2%, 3% and 4% all other parameters remaining equal.
The viscoelastic graphs of PhotoHA® can be seen in Figure 1. While both graphs show similar gelation trends, the final stiffness of the 4% concentration is ~ 15x the stiffness of the 1% concentration.
