Publication Title:

Development of Nitric Oxide Releasing Visible Light Crosslinked Gelatin Methacrylate Hydrogel for Rapid Closure of Diabetic Wounds

Advanced BioMatrix Products Used:

Ruthenium Photoinitiator

PhotoGel Methacrylated Gelatin

How the products were used:

Ruthenium allows for visible light photocrosslinking. of hydrogels. Ruthenium was mixed with PhotoGel (Methacrylated Gelatin) and the mixture was photocrosslinked to form a hydrogel patch. This patch was highly porous, improved cell proliferation and migration, and enhanced diabetic wound healing.

Article Conclusion:

SNAP incorporated visible light crosslinked GelMA hydrogel can be suggested to develop clinically relevant wound healing patches that facilitate rapid wound healing when applied on diabetic wounds.
