Stiffness effects on HFF and U87 Cell Morphology

How the products were used:

CytoSoft® Plates (6-well plates with a thin layer of PDMS of a specific stiffness, including 0.2, 0.5, 2, 8, 16, 32 and 64 kPa) were used to evaluate the affect of substrate stiffness on HFF and U87 cell morphology. 

 

 

Article Conclusion:

The results indicated that the aspect ratios of HFF and U87 cells were unchanged when seeded on substrates ranging in stiffness from 0.5 kPa to 64 kPa.
