PhotoAlginate Photocrosslinking Study

The following experiment was conducted to determine the viscoelastic behavior of PhotoAlginate® (methacrylated alginate) during photocrosslinking at concentrations of 1%, 2%, 3% and 4%, all other parameters remaining equal.
The viscoelastic graphs of PhotoAlginate® can be seen in Figure 1. Changes in concentration can lead to significant changes in hydrogel stiffness and rate of crosslinking.
